Bob brings his diverse expertise in the areas of operations and consulting to Connolly’s contract compliance business. His experience includes selling, managing, and delivering process improvement and systems implementation engagements across a variety of operations-intensive industries, including Abbott Laboratories, Alcan, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Oxychem. Beginning his career in manufacturing management at General Motors, Bob went on to hold various consulting positions in the areas of global practice leadership and supply chain improvement, including work at Arthur D. Little, where he had global responsibility for the operations and information management functional practices. While at ADL, he served as the integration “point-person” with eleven global industry practice leaders. Earlier in his career, at Coopers & Lybrand, Bob was responsible for the sale, management, and execution of consulting engagements involving manufacturing strategy, systems, and operations across a variety of industries. His emphasis on client service has resulted in multiple long-term relationships and increased client retention.

 | Jon Daniells
Director, Service Delivery
Jon is responsible for managing client audits in a variety of industries, including but not limited to oil & gas, healthcare, and mining. He is a contract compliance specialist with broad experience that includes best-in-class audit planning, execution, and reporting. Jon also has extensive experience in multi-entity, international accounting operations. During his career as a CPA and corporate controller, Jon successfully managed large accounting teams in high-volume, transaction-intensive offices. A technically skilled professional, Jon has evaluated, developed, and designed financial and costing systems to aid in the consolidation of accounting operations.

 | Brandt Schmidtmann
Director, Service Delivery
Brandt is responsible for launching contract compliance audit programs with new clients. He has extensive experience in financial operations, spending over ten years at adidas, including eight as the CFO of adidas North America. While working at the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, Brandt assisted in the establishment of a comprehensive contract compliance program and performed contract compliance field audits. He also spent years in the field as a business analyst, leading projects to aid in benchmarking maintenance practices. At KPMG Peat Marwick, Brandt worked on the audit side of the business, acting as senior audit manager. Brandt’s diverse expertise includes specific client engagements in the industries of automotive, consumer products, forest products, and airlines.

As Director, Strategy & Quality, Howard is responsible for advancing Connolly’s breadth and quality of contract compliance services. His experience in corporate internal contract compliance auditing, internal audit, business controls, and administration gives him the insight needed to ensure the highest quality service delivery at all engagements. Howard’s background at ARCO Corporate and ARCO Transportation Alaska gives him first-hand knowledge of the oil & gas industry and an insider’s view of the procurement and contract processes of some of the world’s largest companies.

In her role as Director, Client Service, Janet ensures satisfaction across Connolly’s contract compliance clients. Listening to the client and recommending solutions to meet their needs is a key element of her responsibility. Janet’s experience in disbursement recovery auditing and focus on contract compliance and accounts payable give her deep insight into our engagements. During her tenure at IBM Corporation, she held various roles in finance, accounting, and project management. In all, Janet combines hands-on expertise with relevant business acumen to help her speak our clients’ language.
